According to the Los Angeles Times, The Wolong Nature Reserve in China is breeding pandas in captivity and then releasing them to the wild.  But, because they’re born in captivity, the pandas might think humans are their parents, so, to trick ‘em (that’s right…they trick the pandas!) the caretakers spend their time with the pandas dressed in full panda costumes.  Which is, really, a pretty ingenious way to make sure the panda’s will interact with other pandas.
